PAS-Conference October 3-5, 2002

Major goal

A major goal of the proposed conference was to facilitate progress in the scientific study of the singing voice by bringing together the thinly scattered researchers who have made it a primary interest. These included scientists as well as the growing fraction of singing teachers who are ready to take advantage of low-cost analytic programs now available for personal computers. The collective exchange of ideas would provide a basis upon which future research could be projected.
